You will need to bring your vehicle with a at least 3/4 tank of gas, and have a folding chair, hat, comfortable clothes and shoes. We will be on the trail at lunch time, so plan to bring a lunch and non-alcoholic drinks for the day. We will be getting familiar with our vehicles and with driving skills (you might get some dirt or grease on your hands). Due to how much information we will be covering it is to your advantage to arrange to leave children at home. You will learn in a day what takes many people years to learn on their own. The basic class is not enough for some people who want more practice with sand, rocks or recovery. We have a second day with more time honing the skills of driving in sand and rocks. This class is only $199 when booked in conjunction with our Intro. class. During the hot summer months when we move the class to the higher mountains where we cover only the rocks and recovery. As a separate class this in included in our intermediate class. Call our office to book this intermediate or our advanced classes. Areas we will cover are: Planning and Preparedness Itinerary, Check List, Vehicle Inspection and Safety. Mechanics of 4-Wheel Drive 2 or 4 wheel drive, Changing tires and basic repairs.
